My session with this family was so much fun! They were such great troopers (it was a little hot outside!!). I always forget (when I am dressed in shorts and a t with my hair thrown up in a pony tail) how gross miserable it must be to be all dressed up in this Texas heat! Brand New {The O Family}

What a fun family! We started off with a newborn session, and then we met later in the day to get some great family photographs once Dad got home from work. Little Lily was a HOOT! She loved getting her picture taken and she LOVES her new baby brother. She was so sweet and curious. Baby Kai did so well during his session! He fought sleep for awhile but we were able to get some great shots with his eyes open! Simeon & Stephanie, you have such a sweet little family. Enjoy your sneak peek!

{The R Family} Homecoming

One of my favorite events to photograph are military homecomings. I love being around all the excitement and emotion! It's so wonderful to watch families reunite. I've photographed the R family before, and so I was excited when Erin called me to photograph her husbands homecoming.  Welcome home! I am so happy for your family :)

My sweet cousin is a dancer in Austin--while I wish I could, dancing is definitely not something I'm good at! We went out on an early morning for a short session to showcase some of her beautiful moves. She did so well! Enjoy her images.

{Z Family} Maternity

I am so thrilled to finally share Lyria & Daniel's maternity session. When they contacted me a few weeks ago about doing their maternity session, I was excited that they already had some great ideas of where to go! (Plus, it gave me a chance to explore Austin!) I met them in South Austin to start our session, and then we moved on to the Zilker Park area. Daniel is in a band, and plays the guitar. Towards the end of the evening he went and got his guitar from the car, and we got some great shots of him playing to his baby girl.  Lyria & Daniel- enjoy your sneak peek!

{Allison & Trevor} Post-Deployment

 I met Allison in 2011 when we would sit near each other at our husband's softball games and cheer for them talk! Trevor and Al have become great friends of my husband and me, so it's a great pleasure when they ask me to do their photos! Trevor recently returned from deployment and Allison asked me to update their pictures. Last session we stuck to Salado, this time we wanted to get outside of the box. Allison grew up in the Austin area, so she introduced me to so many pretty new spots! I love how all the places we went had a special significance to her and Trevor's relationship. {The F Fam} Family Session

I am officially in Tallahassee! It's wedding time! :) Of course I can't go to Florida without doing at least one session- and I wanted a chance to shoot in the same place where my bridal portraits were taken. We headed over to the gorgeous Southwood in Tallahassee- it was beautiful outside! Tony & Debbie are great friends and my parents and me, and they had asked me to do a family session when I was in town for the weekend. I quickly agreed!
